Complete a Beta Test

25 Points

Beta testing generally begins when a website is basically finished. The focus of beta testing is reducing errors that users experience on the website. The process of delivering a beta version to users is called beta release and this is the first time that the software is available to an audience.

The users of a beta version are called beta testers. Others refer to this stage as a previewprototypetechnical preview (TP), or early access. Some websites are kept in perpetual beta—where new features and functionality are continually added to the software without establishing a firm “final” release.

Teen Health Magazine is always adding new features to our website. Earn this badge and help the community experience online improve! Complete 1 task on the Beta Test page and tell us what you complete in the submission box below.
